The crab bisque was incredible and I had the fish and chips which were amazing. Service was excellent, ask for Tyler. I noticed many locals...which is a good indication of a great place.

Never had a bad meal at Hooked. Quaint, small place. Able to hear one another talk, great place to meet another couple to catch up. The specials, really are 'specials.'

There are a lot of great restaurants in OC Md, but hands down to me this is the best. Hooked has such a great atmosphere, there is an upstairs, downstairs and an outdoor area for seating, there is an outside bar as well. The bartenders Sean, Hayley and Brendon are so personable and fun. The managers Brittany and Andy are very accommodating and make sure your dining experience exceeds your expectations. I was in there a couple weeks ago for that fantastic Hooked Burger and Julia was my server, another wonderful employee at the restaurant. I also have to mention Nino and the kitchen staff for the fabulous job they do coming up with the creative dishes they put out, the food looks like a work of art and its always fresh. The owners did an amazing job with the restaurant, it's really trendy and beautiful inside. Not overdone, just perfect, all in all it just really adds to the whole hooked experience. Check the website as they do a lot of neat things thru the year like weekly specials, happy hour, great entertainment. I f you are visiting OC Md, please check Hooked out, they are conveniently located on coastal highway, and I cannot say this enough they do not disappoint.

While passing through Ocean City for a day of sightseeing, I stumbled upon Hooked while searching for a non-chain dining option. I was immediately welcomed by warm, friendly service--our server was not only personable but also offered great recommendations. I started with the mussels, and my husband opted for the wings. The wings were so exceptional that I ended up ordering them as my entrée, accompanied by a side of fries. I was especially intrigued by the tomato jam--it was so delicious that I found myself wondering about the secret behind its flavor. The manager was even kind enough to give me a small container to take home with me. That small act of kindness really made my day. My husband got the hooked burger that he really enjoyed. Overall, Hooked exceeded my expectations. If I ever find myself back in Ocean City, I'll definitely return, particularly for those fantastic wings!

I ordered a shrimp and grits. Tasty, well-made and plentiful shrimp! If anything, I'd recommend to the chef to cut back a couple of shrimp and double the amount of grits! My wife ordered halibut which she loved. The beer selection is good with many varieties, (and not west coast IPA-heavy as happens in California!) I had one from Burley Oak brewery in Berlin, MD. Dessert: Go for Key Lime Pie, among the best 2 I've ever had.

We came here for dinner/happy hour after a day at the beach. They have a lot of bar seating both downstairs and upstairs. I really liked the fish tacos. The fries were interesting because they tasted like they were coated in pesto.

This is a casual, small venue that serves up fresh food, specializing in seafood. I had the swordfish with brussels which was very good, I would have appreciated an actual serving of the sweet potato whip. The scallops were very good but the risotto needed more flavor to be the majority of the dish. It's good enough for the special reduced meal days but might disappoint some for regular price. The shrimp and grits are good and hearty. I'd describe it as a shrimp gumbo on grits. My waiter was hard to flag throughout the evening. I saw a few other plates that looked good. I enjoyed the food well enough to recommend and return to explore more of the menu.

Really tasty food, nice variety of drinks, very very polite and prompt service. Kate was the best, she walked us through any questions we had, and was clever enough to bring out some of their homemade hot sauce that she turned into an upsell when we bought a bottle to take home. We loved everything we ordered and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and they play great music too. Caesar salad was great but a little cheesy although that's how I like it, fries were piping hot and tasty, calamari was really good too. Would definitely recommend
